Children in public schools in poor communities especially in marginalized communities where PIBCID/AAN works have little or no exposure to recreational activities such as dance, sack race and skipping, exhibition and open party for children etc.
Getting children to play as much as they learn through creative child entertainment activities positively impact on the child.
Participation Initiative for Behavioural Change in Development PIBCID Sponsorship unit in partnership with ActionAid Nigeria conducted a one day children sack race and skipping competition with presentation of gifts and refreshments for children in Osara community in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State Nigeria.
